摘要
近代“洋务教育”思潮的产生,是面临亡国灭种危机中的现代化努力的最直接体现,是对西方技术的吸收和制度的模仿。本文着眼于研究晚清洋务运动时期引进近代职业教育的经济、社会和思想背景,及其代表性人物在职业教育思想史上的地位与作用。
Modem vocational education is the product of the Industrial Revolution. The Westernization Movement (Yang-wu movement)in Late Ching was a direct action of modernization under the background of national doom. During this period, the Ching government began to absorb some advanced western techniques and imitate the institution. This paper focuses on the economic, social and ideological background for of the modem Vocational education by the Westernization sect of Late Ching Dynasty, and the position and function of the representative figures in the ideological history of vocational education is also studied here.
