摘要
对中国英语的研究,既要大胆假设,亦要小心求证,宜从语言或其变体都是一个系统的观点出发,从语音、词汇、句法三个层面去考察,看它是否已具备足够的、与其规范体相比较而稳定存在的区别性特征,单从某一个层面做出判断的做法是不科学的。中国英语目前仍是碎片式存在,尚未形成体系。既要研究变体的表现形式,也要探究现象形成的深层次原因,语言公差与工作英语概念则为后者的研究提供了新视角。
The attitude to China English is to assume audaciously but to confirm carefully. A language, together with its varieties, is a system, Only when endowed with sufficient , stable features of pronunciation, vocabulary and syntax compared with the ＂norm＂, has a variety taken shape. Presently, the system of China English exists just in pieces not in system, Not only the linguistic phenomena but the causes for them should be studied. For the latter, Linguistic tolerance and working English may provide a new perspective.
