摘要
本文针对人脸检测过程中常用到的基于彩色图像肤色分割的方法存在的不足,提出了一种将彩色图像肤色分割方法与图像的小波变换方法相结合的人脸区域检测方法。首先采用肤色分割方法对图像中的人脸区域进行粗定位,然后与从原图像进行小波分解提取出的人面部的细节信息相结合,从而可以更为准确地定位人脸的位置。实验表明了本方法的有效性,并且对于一般背景的图像可以提高人脸检测系统的适应性。
Based on skin color segmentation and wavelet transform, a novel method is presented for the detection of human face in color images. Aiming at the defect of commonly used algorithm, a skin color segmentation algorithm is used to locate the faces roughly, then a wavelet transform algorithm is applied to get the details and better locations of the human faces. The experimental results have shown the efficiency of the algorithm and its ability to improve the adaptability of the face detection system.
