毕飞宇《玉米》系列在叙事艺术上有着独到之处。其在叙事视角上独特的第三人称限制视角的运用,同时又暗含着“我”的在场使作者在叙述上获得极大的自由;在情节的设置上,独特的情节让人物的性格凸显;在语言运用上,民间土语、反讽、戏拟的运用让整个文本精致传神。这三个方面是《玉米》系列在叙事艺术运用上的三个突出点。

Bi Feiyu＇s Corn series has a distinctive style of its own art of narration which contains three conspicuous features. The useofthe third person as the narrative role limits the narration perspective, and ＂Ⅰ＂ presence gains great freedom at the same time. The plots arrangement makes the characters special and unique, and the application of the folk jargon, irony and dramatic personification makes the work attractive and striking.
