量子阱中束缚极化子基态结合能

摘要 用变分法研究量子阱中定域体声子和界面声子对束缚极化子基态能量和结合能的影响,给出了束缚极化子基态结合能随阱宽变化的数值结果.研究发现,当阱宽比较小时,界面声子对结合能的贡献较大,而阱宽较大时,体声子对结合能的贡献较大.总的结合能随阱宽的增大而减小. Polarons bound to the impurity centers in a semiconductor quantum well are studied by including both the influences of interface and bulk phonons. The ground-state energies and thebinding energies of bound electron-and hold-polarons are calculated by a variational method. Thenumerical results of the binding energies of the bound polarons are given as function of the wellwidth. It is found that the contributions of the interface and bulk phonons to the binding energyare dominant at thinner and thicker wells respectively. The total binding energy decreases with increasing the well-width.
