中国早期部分生理学名词的翻译及演变的初步探讨

Translation and Evolution of Physiological Terms in Modern China

生理学是西方近代医学的基础之一,在伴随着西方医学传入中国的过程中,产生了大量的生理学的新名词、新术语。这些词经过时间的过滤,有的被淘汰,有的则一直保留了下来。简要回顾了中国生理学名词翻译和统一的历史过程,并选取了部分基本名词进行了分析比较,以期能反映出中国早期生理学名词翻译和演变的过程和特点。

Modern physiology is one of the basic subjects of Western medicine. Along with the spread of Western medicine into China, a large number of new physiological terms was produced. Through being used, filtered and selected by the society, some of these terms were eliminated while some of them have continued to be in use up to now. The translation and evolution of these terms in China during the Ming-Qing period are an important part of the history of Chinese physiology. This thesis looks back upon the historical process of the translation and unification of physiological terms and studies the problem of physiological terms in China during the Ming- Qing period.
