The training and organizing work for the national undergraduate electronic design competition is discussed in this article. According to the frequency counter based on MCU and CPLD that is designed by students, there emerge some questions in the design. The national undergraduate electronic design competition has an important effect on experiment teaching reformation, training students＇ capacity for practicing, creating and synthesizing.
