The teaching mode reform is one of the most important missions in college English teaching courses. Multimedia-assisted teaching, one of the modern teaching means, has been extensively applied, The paper compares two different teaching modes, traditional mode and multimedia-assisted mode implemented in two groups of classes. It also puts forward some beneficial proposals on how to apply multimedia teaching mode after analyzing and appraising the reform results of college English teaching.
