The paper summarized the significance of the anchor-staff supporting technology and its monitoring, analyzed the method of rock-seam monitoring technology in coal mine underground at the moment. It introduced a monitor that applied video technology to monitor rock-seam in coal mine underground, and exhibited the application of this monitor by an example. This monitor had past underground experiment. It is the first to use video technology to monitor rock-seam in coal mine underground in China.
