On Utterance Connotation and Self-destruction of Root-seeking Literature

寻根文学是当时各种国内外思潮多向合力的结果,表达了启蒙主义话语下精英知识分子对现代民族国家的文学想象。寻根文学所肩负的启蒙主义的历史使命和它所达到的实际效果之间的双向悖论,解构了寻根文学自身的文化重构初衷,造就了寻根文学的“失根”直至最终退潮。

Various kinds of tendencies of both abroad and at home made joint cffort to the birth of Root-seeking Literature,which expressed the literary imagination to our modern national country the elite intellectuals put forward in the unerance of Enlightenment. However,the historical mission of Enlightenment the Root-seeking I.iterature undertook and the practical effects it had achieved collided to make a dual-dilemma,which destructed the former expectation of cultural reconstruction the Root seeking I.iterature had thought about, which also brought about the loss of cultural basis of Root seeking Literatue and resulted in the decadence of it finally.
