Further Research On Historic Significance of Thrift and Construction of A Thrift Society

自从中国进入工业社会以来,围绕是否保持还是扬弃或是抛弃传统的节俭观的这个问题,理论界展开了诸多探讨,但是并未取得实质性的进展。究其根源,在于“节俭悖论”的存在,即在个体伦理与社会效应之间存在的矛盾、冲突。本文从消费的视角出发,在考察“节俭悖论”的历史渊源及探讨如何消解的同时,在结合实证调查,运用日常语义分析法论述了现代化语境下节俭观的新发展的基础上就如何建构节约型社会展开了探讨。

Since China is entering the industrial society, the theoretical circle is carrying out a discussion on the problem, which decides to preserve, to sublate or to abandon traditional ideas of thrift in order to go in for modernizafion construction, Because they have not solved the paradox of thrift that there are contradiction and conflict between individual ethics and social effects, the discussion has no result. From the angle of consumption, the paper probes historical origins of the paradox of thrift and how to break out of it. And based on the exposition of the new development of thrift in the stage of modernization by the analytical method of daily semantic meaning through an investigation, the paper discusses how to build a soeiety of thrift type.
