在文艺史上,悲剧及其相关问题一直是众说纷纭、见仁见智的难题。在分析以前各家观点的基础上,本文试图提出自己对这个问题的一点远远算不上深刻的理解:悲剧总是个体与社会之间的冲突。抗争精神是悲剧的核心。悲剧美是在怜悯、恐惧基础上升华出的崇高感。

In the history of literature, the tragedy and relevant problems have been difficult and opinions vary all the time. After analyzing the point of view in former times, this thesis is trying to put forward its own simple opinion of this question. Tragedies are always the conflicts between individual and society. Resist spirit is core of tragedy. The beauty of tragedy is a feeling of sublimity which based on pity and dread.
