加强党的先进性建设理论研究,主要是深入研究科学发展观与邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想的内在联系和有机统一,深入研究科学发展观对党的建设的新要求,深入研究我们党执政的历史经验和生动实践,深入研究党的先进性建设的基本规律,深入研究构建和谐社会对党的建设提出的新要求,对于加强党的执政能力,巩固党的执政地位,完成党的历史使命,推进新时期党的建设的伟大工程具有极其重要的意义。
