Solution to T.38 fax in softswitch based on H.248 protocol

随着Internet技术的发展,一种全新的传真方式——IP传真问世了。文中首先介绍了媒体网关控制协议H·248、IP传真,以及实时IP传真的标准T·38;随后探讨了在软交换体系结构下,如何实现IP传真。并提出了在MG具有T·38能力时,MGC如何基于H·248协议控制MG实现T·38传真的解决方案。

With the development of Internet, a novel way of fax-IP fax come into existence. Firstly, this paper introduces H. 248, IP fax and T. 38. Then it discusses how to implement IP fax under softswitch structure, and gives the resolvent of how MGC uses H. 248 protocol to control MG to implement T. 38 fax on condition that MG has T. 38 fax capability.
