摘要
针对总线局域网中数据和话音业务的不同要求,提出一种带有优先机制的混合MSAP和CSMA/CD两种协议的新协议。性能分析结果表明,此协议的吞吐量在轻重负载时分别优于前两种协议,话音端站时延明显小于数据端站,从而满足了一定条件下总线局域网的业务需求。
A new protocol for integrated data--voice with priority is proposed. This proton col is based on a hybrid MSAP and CSMA/CD to handle kinds of services. Stations can access the bus in either MSAP or CSMA schemes. To evaluate the protocol’s performance,analytical formulations are derived. Numerical results are obtained for the throughput and the mean packet delay. Results are shown that both the throughput and the mean packet delay for this protocol are better than MASP at low loads, and better than CSMA/CD at high loads, particularly. The delay of the voice station is lower than that of the data station.
