Investigation of Whole Blood Iron Content of 2,058 Children With 0.5～9 Years Old

目的 了解0．5～9岁儿童全血铁水平，分析年龄、地区间血铁含量差异。方法2058名儿童分成三个年龄段，采用火焰原子吸收分光光度法检测末梢血含铁量。结果 2058例0．5～9岁儿童全血铁含量为（9．23±2．51）／μmol／L.儿童血铁含量存在性别差异，男高于女（P〈0．01）。以0．5～1岁年龄段血铁为最低（7．68±1．01）／μmol／L，〉5～9岁儿童最高（11．67±1．06）tμmol／L。男、女童血铁差异在〉1～5岁年龄段有显著性差异（P〈0，01）；城郊两地儿童血铁差异有非常显著性（P〈0．01）。结论 本组儿童全血铁含量与其他地区报道基本一致，但应对〉1～5岁年龄组儿童饮食给予足够重视。

Objective To know iron level in whole blood of children with 0.5-9 years old, and analyze blood iron content difference between age, and district. Method According to different age, 2,058 children with 0.5-9 years old were divided into three groups, their iron contents in peripheral blood were determined by atomic absorption spectroscopy method. Results Mean value in whole blood iron of the 2058 children was 9.23±2.51 μmol/L. There was obvious difference between boys and girls with 1-5 years old, and the boys iron level were higher than that in the girls. Blood iron level in children with 5-9 years old was highest, with 11.67± 1.06 μmol/L; 0.5- 1 years old was lowest, with 7.68± 1.01 μmol/L. There was significant difference in blood iron levels of children between urban and suburban districts（ P 〈 0.01 ）. Conclusion Whole blood iron level of children in Changsha City is similar to other districts＇ children, the iron content in food of 1 -5 years old children should be attended.
