This paper deep analyses how to increase current efficiency of zinc elctrowinning in Huludao Zinc Smelter. The methods of increasing purity of electrolyte, controlling the rates of zinc and acid and the zinc content of eletrolyle, holding Lower electrolysic temperature, maintaining suitable currentdensi ty and depositio ncycle, adding appropriate gelatin, strengthening managment and operation are used in producing. All of these methods can avoid losing electric energy and increasing current efficiency.
