Survey and Analysis on Knowledge and Attitudes toward AIDS of College Newcomers

目的了解大学新生对艾滋病相关知识的知晓率及态度,探索学校开展大学生预防艾滋病(AIDS)健康教育方法。方法采用整群抽样法对某大学新生进行不记名问卷调查。结果100%的学生听说过AIDS,90.0%左右的学生知道AIDS可以通过血液、母婴和性接触途径感染。33.2%的学生认为AIDS可以治愈,55.5%的学生知道纹身、穿耳、拔牙可以感染AIDS,15.8%的学生知道与艾滋病感染者(HIV)共用剃须刀可以感染AIDS。80.6%的学生认为AIDS离我们很远,31.7%的学生认为预防AIDS与我无关。18.9%的学生认为AIDS患者应得到同情。结论高校学生预防艾滋病健康教育不容忽视,正确认识AIDS的流行趋势、做好个体的自我保护和正确对待HIV感染者和AIDS患者是新生教育中的重点。

Obiective To learn how much newcomers know and their attitudes toward AIDS, to probe into the educational method of AIDS prevention in universities, Method Survey on the freshmen of a university by some percentage without registering their names. Results 100% students hear about AIDS, 90.0% know that AIDS can be infected through blood, mother-baby and sexual contact. 33.2% believe that AIDS can be cured of, 55.5 % think tattoo, ear-puncturing and teeth-extracting may infect AIDS, 15.8% are aware that sharing the same shaver with a HIV may be infected. 80. 6 % believe that AIDS is quite far away from us. 31.7% think AIDS has nothing to do with me. 18.9% believe that HIV patients should be sympathized. Conclusion The education of AIDS prevention shouldn＇t be neglected, attention should be paid on the correct understanding of college newcomers AIDS tendency, self-protection and proper treatment of the HIV and AIDS patients.
