The Dilemma of the Value World in the Situation of Modernity

坚持“个体自我的主体性”和“坚定理性主义”原则的现代性,在生命的每一个范围和层次都为人预备了全新的结构,同时也以消解价值标准、遮蔽价值理性以及断裂价值秩序的方式制造了价值世界的困境,引发出现代人深重的生存危机。反思现代性及其导致的社会文化生活系统的冲突与分裂,在现代与传统、人与自然、人与社会共同体之间的价值共契中,寻求既作为历史承诺、更作为现实生活“选择”与“安排”的价值标准,是彰显以绝对价值为核心的意义世界的独特地位,建构价值世界和谐秩序的积极尝试。

The modernity which adheres to the principle of ＂the subjectivity of the individual self＂ and ＂the firm rationalism＂ provides the new structure for people. Meanwhile,it is making the dilemma of the value world through the ways of deconstructing the criteria of the value,covering the rationality of value and breaking the order of the value,which leads to the deep crisis of life. The reflective modernity and the conflicts and the splits among the system of social and cultural life are seeking the criteria of value which is both the commitment on history and the ＂choices＂ and ＂arrangements＂ of the life among the combination of value of the modernization and the tradition, the human beings and the nature, the people and its social community. It shows the special position of the world of meaning which regards the absolute value as the core, and it is also one of the positive attempts to construct the world of the value.
