叙述了大型火电厂自动化的发展历程，并展望了２０００年或２１世纪初大型火电厂中将出现第三代数字控制方式：火电厂综合自动化系统。
This article describes the development of large fossil fueled power plant automation and predicts that third generation of digital control, i e complex automation system, shall be applied to the large sized fossil fueled power plant in the year 2000 or at the beginning of 21th century.
