慡ource-Laguager-Order-Driven Principle （SLOOP） is one of the fundamental principles adopted in the English-Cinese simultaneous interpreting. The present paper, taking linguistic, communicative, and psychol inguistic approaches to the sources behind the principle, attempts to shed more light to the necessity and feasibility of the principle.
