论法律英语课程“双高”教学目标的实现 被引量:40

摘要 随着中国法制建设的发展,法律英语教学已经成为中国英语教学的一个重要分支。法律英语课程的突出特点之一是对学习者法律基本功的要求高,对其英语交际能力要求高。为了保证法律英语人才培养的质量,“双高”目标不能降低,不可或缺。从中国目前的教学条件看,“双高”目标的实现尚有相当大的困难。本文针对这种状况,阐述法律英语课程的设计,揭示法律英语课程的特点,证明“双高”目标制订的合理性,论证该目标实现的可能性和做法。本文提出法律英语课程设计的基本框架,希望有助于中国法律英语教学实践。 With the development of the construction of the Chinese legal system, legal English teaching has become an important branch of English teaching in China. Legal English curriculum has a distinguishing feature which is the high requirements for students' mastery of legal knowledge and English communicative ability. Such two high requirements comprise respectively the two high objectives of legal English curriculum, which cannot be softened since they are the guarantee of the high quality of legal English education. However, the attainment of the two objectives will run into great difficulties. The present paper, regarding this situation, discusses legal English curriculum design, and tries to reveal the features of legal English curriculum, prove the feasibility of the two high objectives,illustrate the possibility and propose specific measures to be taken. A basic framework for designing legal English curriculum is also put forward, which might be of help to legal English teaching.
