Oscar Wilde's novel The Picture of Dorian Gray has long been regarded as the story about the young persons who were punished by their moral degeneration. In fact, Dorian is a practitioner who fought against the Christian morals and explored the aesthetic survival. Such artistic image represents the foresightedness of art concept and ethical concept of aestheticism with Wilde as a representative.
