发挥GIS专业特色 培养学生的综合能力

Exploiting the Characteristic of GIS and Cultivating the Comprehensive Abilities of Undergraduates

本文分析了目前我国GIS专业本科学生培养的现状及存在的一些问题,结合南京师范大学地理信息系统专业在本科生综合素质培养方面所作的尝试和探索,探讨如何充分发挥GIS专业特色,依托教学、强调课外实践技能培养,培养具有GIS专业基础理论、方法与应用技术的高素质综合型人才的思路与方法。

This paper analyzed the situation of the cultivation of undergraduates whose specialty is GIS and some existing problems. Combining the attempting with the investigation for the cultivation of undergraduates＇ comprehensive abilities, it discussed how to exploit the professional characteristic of GIS, and how to cultivate the talents of possessing of basic theories, methods and applied techniques. In terms of these questions, this paper put forward some integrative teaching thoughts and ways which rely on teaching and cultivation of the practical skills outside courses.
