随着时代的发展,传统大学英语教学模式已经不能适应时代发展的需要,大学英语教学改革势在必行。多媒体网络教学模式有助于优化大学英语的听力教学;有助于优化大学英语的口语教学;有助于提高学生的外语交际能力;有助于优化大学英语教学的组织形式;有助于体现“以人为本”的教学思想,实施学生的个性化学习;有助于促使教师更新教育观念等。因此,改革的重点应放在基于网络的多媒体教学模式上。

With the development of the times, traditional college English teaching mode is no longer suitable for the needs of social development. Teaching reforms are inevitable. Multi-media network mode may help promote listening and oral English teaching. It also reflects the teaching thoughts of people-orientation and individualization, and urges the teachers to reform their teaching concepts. Thus the emphasis of teaching reforms should be put on the multi-media network mode.
