“学衡派”的思想资源得自于美国的新人文主义,并在现代中国引发了一场人文主义文化思潮。这一思潮对于五四时期的传统文化批判具有反思性,对中国文化参与世界对话具有一定的合理性内核,但是“学衡派”思想的非政治化法则和反潮流倾向又使其在现实路径中无法突破两难的困境。

While compared with the Neo-cuhural Movements, it has the tendency of self-reflection. It has rationality participate in the dialogue of China and world. But the non-political inclination and going against the stream made it messed up.
