网络环境下高校图书馆信息服务具有资源载体多元化、服务对象社会化、文献传递网络化以及用户需求多样化的特点。在此环境下的图书馆员应该成为信息资源的过滤者、信息资源与信息用户之间的桥梁以及信息用户的教育者。

Under the network environment, the information service of university library possesses the features of the multi-element of the resources carriers, the socialization of the service objects, the networking of the literature transmission, and the diversification of users＇ demands. The librarians under such environment should become the filter of the information resources, the bridge between the information resources and the information users, and the educator of the information users.
