进入21世纪，由于国际毒品扩散局势日益加剧，影响和制约边境缉毒的境内外因素依然存在，边境地区毒品犯罪形势依然严峻，跨境毒品犯罪作为影响我国边境地区安全与稳定的非传统安全威胁将长期存在。当前边境地区缉毒工作中所面临的形势和跨境毒品犯罪活动出现一些新特点，对此，要充分提高认识，全线设防，加强情报工作，持续开展边境缉毒专项斗争。

In the 21 st century, with the serious complexion of the proliferating of the international drugs aggravating increasingly, the factors which affect and restrict the seizure of drugs in border areas still exist. The situation of smuggling drugs through the borders is still grim. As the threat of affecting the safety and steady of Chinese borders, the drug -related crimes will be long existed. This article first expounds the drug situations encountered by the drug seizure work in border areas at present and some new characteristics of drug - related crimes through borders, then put forward some countermeasures of keeping the drug - related crimes through border areas within limits.
