Design and application of Siemens TELEPERM XP distributed control system in Taishan Power Station

台山电厂是广东省第一个采用国产单机容量为600 MW机组的大容量火力发电厂,为此,较为详细地介绍了台山电厂第一期工程1号、2号机组分散控制系统(DCS)的设计组态、特点及一些应用情况,可为同类工程的建设提供设计参考。

Taishan Power Station is the first large-capacity thermal power station adopting Chinese-made 600 MW units in Guangdong, China. This paper detailedly describes the design configuration, features and applications of the distributed control system （DCS） of unit 1 and unit 2 in Phase-I project of the station, thus providing design reference for the construction of similar projects.
