赋诗言志是周代贵族交往中表情达意的重要手段,它经常发生在宴飨之礼中,是宴飨仪式的重要组成部分。在宴飨之礼中,赋诗言志在典礼“正歌备”到仪式结束这一过程内的“合语”之礼中进行,或在旅酬时,或在仪式的最后。赋诗之礼有着严格的仪节和威仪要求。
