This article introduces the serial communication function of ABB＇s ACS400 frequency converter in VC ＋＋6.0 and Modbus communication protocol, the use of the ActiveX Control Package （for MSCOMM communication control） to realize the serial communication control between multi-frequency converters and single PC on Window platform and the real time detecting of the operation statuses and the data of frequency converters.
