There are about 300 poems related to Qu- jiang in Tang Dynasty. And the poems that describe the scenery surrounding Qu- jiang are numerous. Those poems, which combine with each other as a whole, reflect many aspects of politics, economy and culture of Tang dynasty. Qu-jiang poems exhibit vividly the civilization of the prosperous world, the rise and fall of the dynasty and the mental state of the literators.
