Encoder and Decoder Synchronization Technology of Digital TV System

介绍数字电视系统中实现编解码同步的基本原理,详细分析节目时钟参考(PCR)在编解码中的重要作用及其运行指标,然后讨论解码时间标记(DTS)和播出时间标记(PTS)及其二者与PCR的关系,弄清容易混淆的概念,最后给出PCR在数字电视系统实际设备中的应用。

This paper introduces the basic principle of encoder and decoder synchronization of the digital system, analyzes the importance and working parameters of PCR during encoding and decoding in detail. Then, DTS, PTS and the relation among DTS, PTS and PCR are discussed. Finally, this paper gives the practical application of PCR to DTV devices.
