A wealth of information is one of the most valuable assets of the Urban Management Programme, especially the lessons learned and the experienced gained over the years through city consultations around the world. Sharing information and knowledge, and building a strong knowledge management system for urban management was always central to the UMP. Much information is to be found on the UN-HABITAT website in the virtual library of the UMP＇s CD-ROM and through the anchor institutions.
