摘要
采用乳液聚合法,由八甲基环四硅氧烷(D4)开环聚合、乙烯基三甲氧基硅烷(硅烷偶联剂A-171)共聚改性制得半透明的乙烯基改性有机硅乳液,以该乳液做种子乳液为下一步的接枝改性聚丙烯酸酯乳液作准备。详细讨论了聚合反应条件对乙烯基改性有机硅乳液的D4转化率及其稳定性的影响。结果表明:在聚合反应温度为80℃,催化剂十二烷基苯磺酸(DBSA)用量为D4质量的5%,A-171为3%,混合乳化剂SDS和OP-10总量为3%,SDS和OP-10的质量比为2/1,D4与水的质量比为1/2,制得的乙烯基改性有机硅乳液的D4转化率最高,达到80.6%,稳定性最好。
Semi - transparent vinyl - modified silicone seeding emulsions were prepared by emulsion polymerization with ring - opening polymerization of octamethycyclotetzasiloxane (D4) and copolymerization modification with silane coupling agent (A - 171 ). The seeding emulsions were prepared for the next grafted siloxane - acrylate copolymer latex. Effects of polymerization condition on the conversion of D4 and stability of silicone emulsion were studied. It was found that the highest conversion of D4 is 80.6% with the best stability, when the polymerization temperature was 80℃, the amount of catalyst dodecyl benzene sulfortic acid (DBSA) was 5 % of D4, A - 171 was 3 %, mixed emulsifier( SDS and OP - 10) was 3 %, the mass ratio of SDS and OP - 10 was 2/1, and the mass ratio of D4 and water was 1/2.
