Based on the comparison between Mao Zedong＇s and Jiang Zemin＇s thinking for the national economic development from the angle of the status of the national economy and development of strategic thinking and measures, the writer holds the idea that, after the founding of our nation, thoughts from the three generations of leaders are driving forces for the development of our national economy and the construction of harmonious society.
