Pan-Political View of the Western Literary Theory in the 20^(th) Century - Analysis on Terry Eagleton's Literary Criticism View

上世纪末,世界文坛经历了一次文学理论大潮的冲击,特里·伊格尔顿(Terry Eagleton)适逢其时,是当时西方马克思主义文学批评的代表人物,其理论产生的影响极为广泛。今天,重读伊格尔顿,我们可以看出他的文学观和文学批评观是基于一种政治上的“压抑——抗争”的心理情结而产生的,因而在很大程度上它更多的是伊氏“泛政治观”的衍生,是他强烈的政治参与意识情绪化之结果。

In last century the research on the literary theory influenced the literature field. Terry Eagleton is the renowned critic of the literary criticism of the western Marxism, and his theory influences today greatly. Based on his political view, this paper anlyzes his literary view and the view of literary criticism which arise from his psychological feeling-knot based on his political depression and struggle, so it was essentially controlled by his political view and was influenced by his tendency to wish to participate in the politics.
