Analysis of Direct Foreign Investment in Gansu Province

通过分析甘肃利用外商直接投资的来源地、投资模式、投资的产业结构和投资规模,可以发现西部大开发以来,甘肃利用外资的规模无论是绝对量还是相对量都在减少。其主要原因在于甘肃的经济总量小、对外开放程度低、市场化程度低、技术进步与创新能力差、城市化发展滞后、外商直接投资存量低这6个。

By analyzing the sources, modes, industrial structure and scale of direct foreign invest in Gansu, the article shows that, since the implementation of the Development of West Regions, the extent of foreign investment is decreasing in terms of absolute and relative quantity. The article summarizes the following six causes： minor gross economic production, low level of opening, low degree of marketization, inefficiency of technological progress and innovation capability, underdeveloped urbanization and less direct foreign investment.
