The paper introduces the way of using the control carry function in the medium scale integrated circuit to design module-N synchronous counter. By taking 74 LS 160 as an example, it introduces the reset zero methods, feedbacks reset number methods and the class connects method, and compares the advantages and disadvantages of these methods.
