摘要
休谟认为,因果关系既不存在于事物之中,更不是形上学实体,也非来自人的神性理性;因果关系的真义不是必然连结性,而是相似物象之间的恒常会合;人之所以有一种心理必然性的因果观念,完全出自人的心理习惯,是人的一种自然信仰。
Hume believes that the cause-and-effect relation does not exist in things, or substance of metaphysics ; but comes from human sense with magic power. The true implication is not necessary connection, but the constant conjunctions between resemble things. Human causality ideas of mental inevitability come out of human mental habit or custom. It is the human natural belief.
