在鲁迅和沈从文的小说中知识分子是批判和否定的对象,但二者的创作主旨完全不同,鲁迅否定和拒绝了传统文明,强调和突出了现代文明。而沈从文与之相反,实质是对现代文明的有意对抗和背离及对传统文化的皈依和回归,完全放弃了“五四”文学的主题和灵魂。

In Lu Xun and Shen Congwen＇ s novels, intellectuals are the objects of criticism and negation, but they do it in different ways. Lu Xun denied trational civilization, and stressed the modem civilization, while Shen, on the contrary, was against the modem civilization on purpose and returned to traditional culture giving up the ＂Wusi＂ theme of literature.
