The Three Big Gaps and the Coordination of Society

改革开放以来,我国社会主义经济建设快速发展,其成就世人瞩目,同时在发展中也存在一些矛盾与问题。当前,制约我国社会和谐的主要经济因素是:城乡差距、地区差距和居民收入差距的扩大。这一系列不和谐的因素是长期以来诸多矛盾累积的结果,重要原因在于制度安排的失衡。构建和谐社会,缩小三大差距,需要完善制度建设,加强宏观调控,采取一系列相应的对策措施。

China's socialist economic construction develops very fast and its achievements attract worldwide attention since reform and opening up to the outside world. At the same time, there exist some contradictories and problems in the development. The major factors restricting the coordination of society are as the followings: the enlargement of disparity between city and country and between different regions. These come from the contradictions accumulation of long time and the major reason lies in the imbalance of institutional arrangement. To construct the coordinate society and narrow the three big gaps, we need to perfect institutional construction and strengthen centralize guidance and take some other countermeasures too.
