中国彩陶“鸟啄鱼”纹意义考析

Analysis on Meaning of ＂bird beck fish＂ Lines on China Colored Ceramics

中国远古彩陶艺术丰富的纹样中，“鸟啄鱼”纹特殊而有趣。有人以图腾文化产物来解释“鸟啄鱼”纹，认为这是部落攻战的象征。笔者认为，远古彩陶上的“鸟啄鱼”花纹以及其他形式的鸟纹、鱼纹组合在不同的文化类型的彩陶中以不同的形式而存在，寓意生命的再生或新的生命的开始，并寓意了氏族的繁荣兴旺的某种原始宗教涵义。“鸟啄鱼”纹在后世亦有继承和发展，它在远古的确切意义仍有待考证。

Ancient Chinese ceramics have a verity of lines in which ＂bird peck fish＂ line is special and interesting. Someone thought it signifies an attack in a tribe. The author considers it is one type of lines just like bird line and fish line which means reliving for the new life and tribe is prosperous. ＂Bird peck fish＂ line has developed, but its ancient meaning is still further to be surveyed.
