目的：思考和探讨对新世纪中医骨科学的新发展。方法：通过对中医治疗骨关节损伤和疾病历史悠久，中医骨科学很早就形成了比较系统的理论体系和学说；新中国成立以来，中医骨科取得举世瞩目的成就，受到国际骨伤学界的重视和承认，对世界医学作出一定的贡献；中医骨科学具有鲜明的中医特色和西医骨科学不可替代的独特优势；中医骨科学就是在不断“现代化”的过程中发展起来并逐步完善的论述。结论：在科技迅猛发展的今天中医骨科学要不断与高新技术相结合，改革创新、与时俱进，坚持科学的发展观的新思路，才能向更大的飞跃迈进。

The science has made great progress since the PRC was founded and been paid more attention and approved by the international Bone jury academic circles. The science has made some contributions to the world medical science. It has unique and unreplaced feature. The science is developing and perfecting unceasingly. Conclusion： The Chinese medical Traumatology ＆ Orthopedics science must combine with the newest high technology and reform accordingly at the present era in order to develop greatly.
