综述人线粒体DNA(m tDNA)序列分析在法医学种属鉴别、个体识别,以及个体年龄推断中的应用研究及其进展,展望对m tDNA异质性的研究及建立人m tDNA数据库,并具有重要的法医学实践意义。

his review article is aimed at discussing the forensic application and study progress of mtDNA sequence analysis. This analysis can be applied in species and individual identification, detection for minute and acaryotic materials and also in age estimation. The major problem in mtDNA sequence analysis is heteroplasmy of mtDNA. The major reason causing heteroplasmy of mtDNA is contamination of samples. Heteroplasmy of mtDNA can be decreased only if contamination of samples could be avoided. Set up database of mtDNA will definitely be helpful for forensic medicine services.
