The Research on the Custom of Youngsters Gathering at “She" Temple in Ancient Times

在先秦时期的一些典籍记载中,先民于“社”地举行祭祀祈望农业丰收的同时,亦进行祷告人类自身蕃衍的奉祀活动,并最终用“会男女”的形式得以落实。祭社逐渐成为民众欢聚的一个节日,社庙也由神圣的宗教场所发展为男女青年的恋爱狂欢之地。

Some works in ancient times described about the people in that ages holding memorial ceremony to pray for good harvesting at the temple of She. And meanwhile they prayed for having more decendants , which put into effect by the means of the youngsters got acquainted and fell in love with each other. So gradually the memorial ceremony of She became a feast day for people＇s gathering and the temple of She evolved from a holy religion place to a paradise for young persons to make love.
