我国直升机工业40多年的发展历程,和中国航空工业一样经历了50年代仿制、试制阶段,60年代的自行设计阶段,70年代的停滞阶段,80年代的改革开放阶段,现在已进入90年代开始全面腾飞阶段。应当说,在这40多年的历程中,中国直升机工业的发展是有许多很好的机遇的。例如,世界直升机的首次实用性飞行是在30年代末期,到40年代才有少量直升机开始在军事和民用方面应用,

Chinese helicopter industry was established in 1950s and its first helicopter product was Z-5 modeled on the former Soviet' s M-4. As the development of helicopter technology and operation, Chinese helicopter industry also has got a great progress. For more than 40 years, not only Z-5, Z-8, Z-9 etc. have been designed and produced, but also some international cooperation programs such as EC-120, S-92 etc. have been developed. Now, China government and AVIC have made a general deployment for Chinese helicopter' s development in future.
