An Argument on "Hakka Armed Migrate" of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement

太平天国运动一开始就是一场以推翻清王朝,建立新的王朝太平天国为目的的农民战争。它虽然以客家人为主体,但这次起义绝不仅仅以移民为目的。“客家武装移民”论片面强调太平天国的兴起与客家社会的渊源,忽略太平天国起义反清政治革命的宏伟志向,也忽略了拜上帝信仰在起义阶段的作用。

Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Movement is a peasant war whose goal is to overturn Qing Dynasty and build up its own new Dynasty since it began. Although it possessed Hakka as its principal part, it did not simply make migrate as its target. The idea ＂Hakka Armed Migrate＂ unilaterally emphasizes the relationship between Taiping＇s rising and Hakka society and however ignores Taiping＇s great anti-Qing political revolutionary goal and Baishangdi Religion＇s function in the process of this movement.
