The Object of the Study of the Contemporary Political Economics

当代政治经济学的研究对象,应该是财富的增长、资源的配置、生产、分配、交换和消费的规律,政治经济学既包括古典政治经济学,又包括马克思主义政治经济学和现代西方经济学,那种认为古典政治经济学研究财富的增长、马克思主义政治经济学研究生产中的人与人的关系、西方经济学研究资源的配置的传统观念是片面的,政治经济学是在财富的增长、资源的配置的基础上,研究生产、分配、交换和消费规律的科学。

Based on the history and the present development of political economics, the present paper attempts to discuss the development of political economics at different stages of the economy in the society and expounds, in the process of exploring the object of the study of the classical political economics, that the research object of the contemporary political economics should be the developmental regulations for the growth of wealth, the allocation of resources, and for the production, distribution, exchange and consumption. That apart, it makes clear that political economics includes not only classical political economics but also Marxist economics and modem western economics. In the paper, the writer criticizes the unilateral and traditional view that classical political economics studies only the growth of wealth, that Marxist political economics studies only the interrelationships among people in production and that western economics studies only the allocation of resources. In addition, he emphasizes that political economics is the science which studies the regulations for production, distribution, exchange and consumption based on the growth of wealth and the allocation of resources.
