To Adjust to and Insist on Deconstructive Literary Study——An Analysis of Miller's Articles on the Present and Future of Literary Study

本文追溯米勒对文学及文学研究现状、未来及其应对的论述,发现他在社会和文学研究的不同时期针对不同的文学及文学研究现状,从解构批评的立场出发,提出了不同的文学研究任务、文学研究方向,不断调整解构批评的概念内涵及研究对象,体现了顺时而变的态度。同时,这变化中亦有不变的因素,那就是对解构批评之修辞性阅读的坚持、对文学的坚守以及对人文主义使命的承担。

By reading up J·Hillis Miller＇s articles on the present and future of literature and literary study, the author finds that Miller had different opinions shout them in different moments. On the one hand, Miller continually adjusted deconstruetive criticism to the situations of literature and litersry study and advanced different literary study tasks in the view of deconstruetive criticism. On the other hand, he insisted on the deconstruetive rhetoric criticism of literary study and its humanism task and thought literature was perennial.
